Increase Our Faith

Dad Hagin was approached by a fellow minister who asked him, “Why do you preach so much on FAITH?”
Doc Hagin said, “Well, the Bible says you can’t please God without faith, the just shall live by faith and you can’t be SAVED without faith!”
The minister blinked his eyes a few times and said, “Well I guess I’d better start teaching on faith.”

The title of message today is “Increase our faith”
MANY of you have used your faith in ONE area (like healing) but not used your faith in other areas (finances).

I am here to tell you TWO things today:
1) That FAITH is the SAME in EVERY REALM !!
2) That some of you have prayed and asked God to “increase my faith” .. Do you know what I am hearing the Holy Spirit say to that? OK .. OK He says .. YOUR faith will increase TODAY :D
Lord INCREASE our faith :

Luke 7:5-6 ESV
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6 And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. (NOTICE what Jesus said .. “YOU could SAY”)

Lets look at the scriptures that Dad Hagin was referring to:
_____________________________________________________
Impossible to please God without faith:

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Do YOU believe that He IS? Now, do you believe that He REWARDS those who DILIGENTLY SEEK Him .. Then DO it!!)

The just shall LIVE by faith: (this verse appears MANY times in the Old and New Testaments)
Rom 1:16-17 Darby
16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ; for it is God's power to salvation, to every one that believes, both to Jew first and to Greek:
17 for the righteousness of God is revealed therein, on the principle of faith, to faith: according as it is written, BUT THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

By grace are you saved through faith:
Eph 2:8 TLV
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not from yourselves—it is the gift of God

The Hall of Faith:
Hebrews 11 English Standard Version (ESV)
By Faith
11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. 7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18 of whom it was said, “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 19 He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back. 20 By faith Isaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau. 21 By faith Jacob, when dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, bowing in worship over the head of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones.
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that the child was beautiful, and they were not afraid of the king's edict. 24 By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25 choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.
29 By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.
32 And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets—33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. 36 Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two,[a] they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated—38 of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, 40 since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

YOUR names could be in here if you DILIGENTLY SEEK GOD and BELIEVE and BELIVE SPEAK DO what He says !!

Romans 10:9-10 KJV21 (faith is released by BELIEVING and SPEAKING): 8 But what saith it? “The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart,” that is, the word of faith which we preach:
9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture saith, “Whosoever believeth in Him shall not be ashamed.”12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all who call upon Him.
13 For “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Finally, the MASTER verses on faith (following Jesus’ example and Jesus’ teaching):
Mark 11:12-26 KJV21
12 And on the morrow, when they had come from Bethany, He was hungry;
13 and seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He might find any thing thereon. But when He came to it He found nothing but leaves, for the time for figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus spoke and said unto it, “Let no man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.” And His disciples heard it.
15 And they came to Jerusalem. And Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold doves.
16 And He would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And He taught, saying unto them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called for all nations the house of prayer’? But ye have made it a den of thieves.”
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His doctrine.
19 And when evening had come, He went out of the city.
20 And in the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter, calling to remembrance, said unto Him, “Master, behold, the fig tree which Thou cursed is withered away.”
22 And Jesus answering, said unto them, “Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea,’ and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have aught against any, that your Father also who is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in Heaven forgive your trespasses.”
